School board awards contract for elementary roof and play shed repairs

On May 16, the Board of Directors of the San Juan Island School District reviewed bids for Friday Harbor Elementary School roof repair. The contract was awarded to Johnston Exteriors of Enumclaw, Wash. The recently approved Capital Projects Levy will allow for repairs this summer.
